john peel archive

The good old beeb has (as usual) left it to the real fans out there to compile a audio memorial to John Peel.
Why don't they stop propping up just 10% of the talentless musak DJs they employee and put some of our hard earned into a full and proper audio archive of the great man.
John Peel Day is on 13th October this year.
johnpeel every day site is very good and has lots of links to archive material to download and listen to.
