great design by h&dm for portsmouth fc new ground but i feel that the old portsmouth area has been completely buggered with the gun wharf (even the name is shite) another shopping mall nightmare.
at least this will be a landmark building but would be better to have more space dedicated to non residential and retail use. Such as a museum and sports academy for the city maybe a modern art museum.
i agree with some comments that this would be much better in the tipner area to the north of the city where it badly needs regeneration. also the road access is much better to ease congestion and they could add in a new rail link from cosham to link with south coast and london trains.
